Kayak/Canoeing

Tour the wonders of Wolf Lake by kayak or canoe.  Enjoy paddling the open waters and exploring hidden trail systems. Scenic shores and island habitats attract an astonishing array of wildlife.

Paddlers are welcome to launch their own crafts from the south entrance of Wolf Lake.

Rentals

Visitors may rent kayaks and canoes on-site for $5/hour. Life flotation devices, which are included with rental, come in adult and child sizes. Canoes, single and double kayaks are available.

Planning for Safety

Although the waters of Wolf Lake are typically calm, kayaks and canoes are allowed only when conditions permit a safe outing. Wave activity, storm systems, water depth and air temperature can all adversely affect safety.
